The camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the friendly game against Mexico has been thrown into confusion with just one goalkeeper fit few days to the game.
OwnGoalNigeria.com exclusively gathered that only one goalkeeper in Stanley Nwabali is fit as the duo of John Noble and Ikechukwu Ezenwa are battling with various degree of injuries.
Noble hasn’t trained since he arrived camp for the game while Ezenwa who was injured a day before hitting the camp of the team suffered a relapse during yesterday’s session.
Both goalkeepers are huge doubts for the game and getting a replacement for the duo won’t come easy as the team have been issued traveling visas by the United State Embassy. Any replacement will likely not have the time to be handed one.
For now they are keen on seeing how to patch up Ezenwa with the few days left leaving Nwabali as the first choice option to start in goal when the teams clash on the 4th of July.
