23 year old Nigerian defender Nura Abdullahi is in line for a return to competitive football after two major heart surgery, OwnGoalNigeria.com understands.
The Roma prospect hasn’t played a game since 2019 when he was advised by doctors to take a break from football but he recently travelled to Italy where he underwent further test.
We gathered that doctors have certified him fit enough to return to competitive football and in the coming days a decision will be made on his next career destination after a meeting with manager Jose Mourinho.
Nura will meet with the new coach later this week for talks on his possible return to
the team where he still has a valid contract but it was paused until he is certified fit enough to return as it is the case right now.
“ Nura is in Italy on the invitation of doctors of Roma. The test results came out positive and a decision on his next career step will be taken after a meeting with Jose Mourinho”, a source close to the player told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
