Per reports sourced by OwnGoalNigeria.com Chidozie Awaziem is on the verge of completing a loan deal to Turkish side Besiktas from Boavista, a team he joined permanently from Porto after a successful loan spell.
The idea we gathered was for the 24 year old to be traded to Lille who were then owned by same person who owns Boavista but that won’t be possible as he has sold Lille and bought Bordeaux.
Awaziem won’t be joining Bordeaux due to his salary as the Ligue 1 club is at the edge financially like several others in France. He will now join Besiktas for a loan fee which could rise to €1 million with an option to sign him permanently for €4.5 million.
Also Besiktas will pay the entirety of his loan fee while at the club as Boavista can’t afford to keep him on their wage bill owing to their limited finances which has also made his move away from the team a must.
All parties involved have consented to the deal meaning in the coming days he will arrive Turkey for a routine medical and official unveiling as a player of Besiktas for an initial period of one year.
