Last season upon his return from a six months loan spell in Spain with Almeria he played only eight minutes, which was in the 6-0 win over Genclerbirligi and he operated as a defensive midfielder instead of his main role as a central defender.
Since moving to Europe in 2019, he has only played in six games with five coming during his spell on loan to Almeria. He will be hoping to get more game time at Denizlispor to further aid his career growth.
