
Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr didn’t include any new player in the provisional list of players he sent to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
OwnGoalNigeria.com exclusively gathered that ahead of the upcoming qualifiers game against Liberia and Cape Verde respectively he has forwarded names of players who will be invited for the game.
He submitted an enlarged list of over 30 players but will prune it down after this weekend round of games in Europe. The list will officially be released next week by the NFF.
We gathered the coach didn’t include any new player in the team instead fringe players who have since made career step ups where given a spot in the list. He retained the bulk of the players he has been working with for a while.
However players like Lorient forward Terem
Moffi, Waftord’s Emmanuel Dennis and Brentford’s Frank Onyeka are In for their competitive debut for the team. The trio have only played in friendly games for the Super Eagles.
