Highly respected former Italy and Lazio striker Beppe Signori has joined the number of high profile names singing the praises of Napoli Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after his brace in their 2-2 draw against Leicester City in the Europa League.
The forward earned his side a point with two well taken brace which powered them to recovering from a two goal deficit away at the English Premier League side on Thursday.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Signori was full of praise for the Napoli record buy describing him as a player with strength, technique, elevation and speed despite the fact that he is still developing in his role as a striker.
“He has everything: technique, strength, elevation, speed and power. He is a player who is still young, he has room for improvement and I think he has shown a part of what he can do”, the ex striker said.
When asked who the striker reminds him off , he compared him to legendary Cote d’Ivoire forward Didier Drogba pointing out the similarities in their physique and technique: “I will say Drogba. They are very similar physically and technically.”
