
As many as 16 players have arrived the camp of the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of their World Cup 2022 qualifiers game against Central Africa Republic (CAR).
Players invited by coach Gernot Rohr started arriving camp yesterday with the duo of Chidera Ejuke and Chidozie Awaziem arriving ahead of every other player. However they have since been joined by 14 other.
As many as seven players are still been expected as at the time of filing in this report as they gear up for the start of training ahead of the first of their two games against CAR which will be on the 7th of October in Lagos.
Players in camp: Ejuke Chidera, Daniel Akpeyi, Onuachu Paul, Samuel Kalu, Kevin Akpoguma, Jamilu Collins, Innocent Bonke, Chidozie Awaziem, Taiwo Awoniyi, William Ekong, Frank Onyeka, Leon Balogun, Joseph Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Ahmed Musa.
7 players expected today: Victor Osimhen, Maduka Okoye, Kelechi Iheanacho, Kenneth Omeruo, Simon Moses, Francis Uzoho, Shehu Abdullahi.
