
Coach of French Ligue 1 side Nantes Antoine Kombouare says Nigeria international forward Moses Simon is a special kind of player to have in your team.
The coach made the remarks after Simon bagged what is his seventh assit of the season to help them draw 2-2 against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 yesterday.
Kambouare says the 26 year old Nigerian has a rare gift of being effective at both ends of the pitch as he can defend as well as attack base on what the team needs during the course of a game.
” It’s rare to find a player who do the things that Simon does. He is effective in the way the team wants to play and that makes him special and you want to have that type of player in your team. It’s a pleasure to have him*, the coach said.
Simon departed France yesterday for the camp of the Nigerian team in Morocco ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers games against Liberia and Cape Verde respectively.
