A hint on how the attack of the senior national team of Nigeria will look like when they take on Guinea Bissau in tomorrow’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game has been provided by head coach of the team Jose Peseiro.
The coach has his hands filled with options in attack with the trio of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Terem Moffi heading into this game in their best form in a long while. They have scored a combined total of 48 goals but in Peseiro’s favored 4-4-2 system only two can be picked.
With Osimhen already established as the first choice striker, the deal was about who will pair him in attack with Lookman doing wonders in a double strikers role at Atalanta but Moffi has also done well in the same role playing for the Super Eagles.
Peseiro per what we saw in yesterday’s session as settled for the duo of Osimhen and Lookman as the attacking duo and Napoli man responded with three goals in training to further show his adaptability to his possible partner in attack.
A final decision is expected to be reached after today’s final session at the Moshood Abiola stadium, the venue of tomorrow’s game.
