The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be converging for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game against Sierra Leone with several players in the team needing to sort out their club future, when the transfer window gets into full swing.
One of the players of the Nigerian team who will surely be playing for a different team next season is the vice captain of the team Moses Simon, who has already started discussion on a possible exit from Nantes.
Simon has a year to go on his contract with the French side, who were keen on extending his stay for another three years but he refused the other and made it clear that he wants to leave and that has put a host of teams on alert.
According to respected French news outlet L’equipe, the exit of the 27 year old has been agreed by all parties involved and permission has been granted to him and his representatives to engage with teams interested in his services.
The same publication went on to quote another French outlet Ouest France saying fellow Ligue 1 side Nice have been in touch with the camp of the Nigerian, who finished last season with five goals and four assists helping his team to beat the drop on the final day of the season.
