The head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Jose Peseiro is keen on having a young goalkeeper as third choice for the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of next year Africa Cup of Nations, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Peseiro wants the first two to be players with high level of experience at both club and national team level, but believes that the third choice should be someone who is young and talented enough to be first choice in the future.

To that extent, he is keeping a close watch on Nigeria U20 shot stoppers Chijioke Anigboso who recently moved to Ukrainian side Polissya, but he feels the AFCON which will be in January might come too soon for the 19 year old.
