Peseiro Picks “Three” As Super Eagles Captains For Saudi Arabia, Mozambique Friendly Game

The senior national team of Nigeria will play their next two games without the captain and vice captain of the team with both players not included in the list of players for the game.

Nigeria will take on Saudi Arabia in Portugal on the 13th of Octoberbefore squaring up against Mozambique four days later. Coach of the team Jose Peseiro called up 24 players but left out the duo of Ahmed Musa and William Troost-Ekong , the captain and vice captain respectively.

In their absence, Peseiro has picked the duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Moses Simon as the captain and vice captain respectively. Wilfred Ndidi will be the second vice captain per what OwnGoalNigeria.comexclusively gathered.

All three players have worn the armband in the absence of the above mentioned substantive  duo during the course of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The game will serve as a warm up for the senior national team of Nigeria opening World Cup qualifiers game against Lesotho in November, which will be followed by their first away tie three days later against Zimbabwe.
