Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Jose Peseiro has selected the four players who will lead the attack of the senior national team of Nigeria in the world cup qualifiers, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively report.

Nigeria will begin their quest to be at the 2026 World Cup by taking on Lesotho and Zimbabwe on the 16th and 19th of November respectively. They will prosecute both games without the services of their top striker Victor Osimhen who is out injured.

In his absence Peseiro has selected four players for the top striker’s role and it will be made public when the list of players for the game is unveiled later today. The coach is keen on maintaining his preferred two man option in attack.

He picked the quarter of Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi, Sadiq Umar and Terem Moffi to lead the charge for goals in both games with the trio of Gift Orban, Jerome Akor and Paul Onuachu on standby in the event that any of the four isn’t available for the game.
