The future of Nigeria international left back Zaidu Sanusi lies away from FC Porto according to sources close to the camp of the 26 year old, who is gearing up to represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations next year.

Zaidu has been at the Portuguese side since 2020 making a total of 122 appearances with seven goals and one assist. He only recently returned from an injury that has kept him out for a while.

In the January transfer window he is likely going to be taking a leap to the English Premier League with talks said to be advanced between his camp and that of all involved in the proposed transfer.
