Head coach of high flying English Championship side Leicester City Enzo Maresca says the Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will likely not play at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

The duo are already in Nigeria and will depart with the senior national team of Nigeria for their training camp on Dubai, which will last for five to eight days before the start of the tournament.

However, Maresca said he is keeping his fingers crossed over their participation at the tournament as they are currently out injured, but still travelled to team up with the Super Eagles ahead of their trip to Dubai.
