Exclusive – NFF Adds New Backroom Staff To Super Eagles Setup Ahead Of AFCON

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has increased the number of backroom staff of the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of their campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Mohammed Isa popularly called Gasman has joined the team as kit manager 2. He has already get down to work with the team at their camp in Abu Dhabi where they are preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Gasman and Portuguese goalkeeper coach Nuno Carrapato are the two new faces in the camp of the team, who have already started training ahead of their first game at the AFCON against Equatorial Guinea on the 14th of January.

The team will have stepped up their preparations with two training sessions starting from today. They will observe the same routine until after their first test game against Guinea on the 8th of January.

The earlier agreed friendly games against Burkina Faso and Cape Verde has been cancelled. They will leave for Cote d’Ivoire on the 10th of January, four days before their first game of the tournament.
