The interim head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Finidi George has promised to ring changes to his starting lineup when the team take on Mali in their second friendly game of the ongoing international break, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Finidi started his reign as interim coach with a 2-1 win over Ghana on Friday, and today he will lead the team out for the second time against Mali at the same venue in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.

He said he will make changes to his starting lineup and we can exclusively reveal that as many as five players who started the game against Ghana will likely not get to start. Starting with Frank Onyeka who is back at his club Brentford for personal reasons.

Alhassan Yusuf is expected to take his place, with Kenneth Omeruo also in line to return to the team after sitting out the last game due to a knock. He will replace Benjamin Tanimu in the starting lineup while Moses Simon will come in for Kelechi Iheanacho.

Ademola Lookman is another who will be on from the start today after his goal after coming on as a substitute against Ghana. The fifth change in the starting lineup which we exclusively gathered will see Jamilu Collins taking the spot of Bruno Onyemaechi who started against Ghana.
