The coach of the senior national team of South Africa Hugo Broos has announced his final squad of 23 players who will prosecute their upcoming world cup qualifiers games against the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Warriors of Zimbabwe, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Broos named a preliminary squad of 36 players for both games but with preparation set to begin by the weekend, the coach has trimmed the squad to a sizeable amount of 23 players for both games.
First up for the Bafana Bafana is the game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Uyo on the 7th of June, before keeping a date with Zimbabwe as they aim to topple group leaders Rwanda or consolidate on their second spot.
