Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen has agreed a five year deal with French giants PSG according to respected journalist Nico Schira, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Osimhen is largely expected to leave Napoli before the close of the summer transfer window with all camps keen on honoring the gentleman agreement reached before he signed an extension to his deal at the club in December.
The move has stalled in recent days with PSG not willing to pay the €130m that Napoli are demanding for his release. They also want to create an exit for one of the duo of Concaldo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani before striking any deal for the Nigerian.
Despite the impasse, Schira insist that Osimhen has already reached agreement on all terms of his move to PSG which will be a deal that will run till the summer of 2029. He said before reaching that agreement Osimhen rejected big money offers from two teams in Saudi Arabia in Al Ahli and Al Hilal.
Known for his precision on reporting transfers the journalist made this known in a post on X formerly known as Twitter. ” Osimhen has rejected the advances of Al Hilal and Al Ahli, he wants to stay in Europe. Arsenal is monitoring the situation but the Gunners are not the main objective for the Italian striker”.
For the time being, Osimhen is still at Napoli but not taking part in tactical or technical training sessions with coach Antonio Conte also leaving him out of the squad for the five games they have played so far in pre season.
