Nottingham Forest have rounded up their preparation for the start of the new English Premier League season with a 4-3 win over Greek side Olympiacos, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Coach Nuno Espirito Santo gave a glimpse of what to expect for the squad that will prosecute their opening game of the season on Saturday, he left out three players from the team that travelled to Greece.
It is believed that the three players have no future with the team, and have been told to look elsewhere with the club not able to have a player who is on a fat pay, but not in the plans of the manager owing to the Profit and Sustainability Rule (PSR).
Among the players is Nigeria international forward Emmanuel Dennis who has failed to hit the ground running since joining the team two seasons ago from Watford. His failure to break into the starting lineup has seen him spent time away from the club on two separate loan spells.
He returned at the end of last season and took part in most of the pre season games and training drills, but it appears a decision has been taken that the 26 year old is better looking for a place he can get games, because he is not in the plans of Forest going into the new season.
