The future of Nigeria international forward Ademola Lookman at Atalanta is settled with just few days to the end of the summer transfer window in Europe, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Lookman was a subject of interest from Ligue 1 giants PSG and the 26 year old reacted by handing in a transfer request, which was turned down by Atalanta as they see the forward whose hattrick handled them the Europa League trophy as key to their plans going into the season.

He was subsequently left out of their first two games of the season, but all is now settled with the club and he is set to return to action tomorrow when they face Inter Milan according to TuttoMercatoweb.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has made it clear that Lookman who will be in international action for the senior national team of Nigeria is one player they hope can help them make a statement in the season.

His return will also excite fans of the club who have been on the edge since news broke out that their most prolific forward over the past two seasons is pushing for a move away.
