
The international future of 17 year old Oghenetejiri Kenneth Adejenughure is firmly in the hands of the Austrian national team following his invitation to a training camp by the coach of the senior national team Ralf Ragnick, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Rated As the next big thing in Austrian football and already linked to teams like Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan among others his senior international future is one that is expected to spark a tug between Nigeria and Austria.
Born in Austria to parents of Nigerian descent, he has so far represented the country of his birth at various youth levels. He is presently a member of their U19 team with two appearances to his name but he still remains eligible for Nigeria.
Rangnick, held a four-day camp for young players in the summer and was impressed by the tall striker with a formidable goalscoring record at youth level, he tipped him to develop into a top player in the nearest future.
Adejenughure scored four goals at the Under-17 Euros in May and it will be interesting to see how he performs in the Austrian second division this season with Liefering, Salzburgās reserve team established to provide young players with game time. Adejenughure is gradually becoming a first-team regular.
