The Nigeria U20 team have successfully defended the WAFU B U20 tournament by beating Ghana 2-1 in the final of the tournament which was hosted in the Togolese city of Lome, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Two years ago , Nigeria lifted the trophy in Niger Republic with coach Ladan Bosso and Aliyu Zubairu who replaced him has now equalled his feat thanks to a brace from Remo Stars forward Kparabo Arieri.
He struck a first half brace to hand Nigeria a 2-0 lead heading into the half time break , before Ghana pulled a goal back 15 minutes from full time to set up a tense finish to the game.

Nigeria defended bravely to run out as champions and also book a spot at the U20 AFCON alongside beaten finalist Ghana by virtue of making it to the final.
