The senior national team of Nigeria will tomorrow begin preparation for the first of their two games in the final round of games in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers which is against Benin Republic, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Super Eagles will take on Benin Republic on the 14th of November at their adopted home ground in Cote d’Ivoire, before travelling down to Nigeria for their final game of the series against Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
Fulham defender Calvin Bassey is among the players expected to begin to arrive in the camp of the team later today , and he has revealed the one player he hates to face in training whenever he is on international assignment with the Super Eagles.
” If you ask around most of the defenders will tell you Moses Simon. He is so unpredictable making it hard to know when he wants to run at you or make a simple pass. Among the defenders he is the one we don’t like playing against in training”, he explained.
Like Bassey, the Nantes winger is expected in the camp of the team for the games. So far he has proven to be a mainstay of the team in the three games played so far in the qualifiers.
