Nigeria international forward Sadiq Umar has agreed a loan move to Valencia from fellow LaLiga side Real Sociedad in search of regular playing time , OwnGoalNigeria.com understands.
Since returning to full fitness from the ACL injury which kept him out for over a year, the 27 year old has failed to force his way into the plans of coach Imanol Alguacil with just seven games to his name this season, and he has also failed to find the back of the net.
He voiced out his unhappiness over not getting playing time at Sociedad in his new year post, and has decided to join Valencia one of the numerous teams who wanted to sign him from Almeria, two seasons ago before his decision to join Real Sociedad.
Reports in Spain says all terms of the deal has been trashed out by both teams with Sadiq, who is still in Nigeria on holiday expected to finalize personal terms when he returns next week.
