Italian Serie A giants Juventus have joined the list of teams who are taking a look at Nigeria international midfielder Raphael Onyedika, who plays for Belgium side Club Brugge.
Capped 16 times by Nigeria, he had his best season last time out distinguishing himself in not just the league but also in the UEFA Champions League. He drew praises from head coach of Manchester City Pep Guardiola before their game, which he eventually scored in.
Onyedika who has a contract till 2027 is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window, and Juventus who are in the market for a replacement for Everton bound Douglas Luiz have shown interest in the 24 year old.
However while Juventus will be willing to offer a transfer fee in excess of €15m, reports say Club Brugge values Onyedika in the region of €35m, and it’s largely why teams like West Ham, Atalanta and AC Milan haven’t followed up their interest with a bid.
