Fans of Italian Serie A side Napoli have reacted to the imminent departure of Victor Osimhen from the club to Turkish side Galatasary, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Osimhen powered the team to their first league title in 33 years three seasons ago, but after a huge fallout with the management of the team he left the team in acrimonious circumstances to join Galatasary on loan last season.
After a fairly successful season where he fired Gala to the League and Cup double he returned to Napoli, and is currently pushing for a permanent move away from the team to the Turkish side. Talks are way advanced for the deal to be completed in the coming days.
A group of fans made their feelings known about the striker with a banner at their training ground, where they are lumbering up for the start of a new season.
“Osimhen, there will always be ignorance in your life. Wretch! Never forget that Maradona played for this club!”. The banner reads.
