Little known Nigerian teenager Alvin Okoro will in the coming hours join Italian Serie A giants Juventus from Serie B Venezia according to several reports in Italy.
The 20 year old was linked with fellow Serie A giants in Inter Milan and Napoli picked Juventus as his next destination with a medical already planned.
He caught the attention of the giants with his performances last season, but the club will carefully integrate him into their first team meaning he will start from their U23.
Venezia were keen on handing him fresh terms after distinguishing himself last season, while on loan to Vis Pesaro 1898 with six goals in 35 matches, operating from his role as a left winger.
Born in Italy to parents of Nigerian descents, he began his career with his hometown club, later moving on to Udinese and Pordenone . He scored 13 goals in 23 appearances for the Neroverdi’s Under-17 team and attracted attention in the first team. He then made his Serie B debut at just 17, becoming the second-youngest debutant in the category that year.
In 2022, he moved to the Venezia Primavera , where he enjoyed two important seasons: 7 goals and 1 assist in 30 appearances in 2022/23, and 13 goals and 2 assists in 29 appearances in 2023/24.
