French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg have completed the signing of former Nigeria U17 sensation Victor Divine Emmanuel from Nigerian side Solution FC, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Strasbourg are co owned by the owners of English Premier League side Chelsea, who were recently crowned the champions of the club world cup after a 4-0 win over PSG in the final last month.
They are said to be preparing for the exit of their top striker Emanuel Emegha, who scored 14 goals and has offers from other top teams in Europe after Chelsea’s decision to leave him at the club.
Victor is among the numerous players that the club is hoping will form their future, hence the decision to hand him a contract till the summer of 2030. The 18 year old will start from their youth team.
His progress will be monitored for a possible promotion to the first team based on how he acquits and also perform for the youth team.
