
The Number of Nigerian played at English Championship side Hull City has swelled to three following the signing of former Caykur Rizespor forward David Akintola on a two-year deal.
Earlier in the summer, the club signed Semi Ajayi on a free contract after the expiration of his deal at West Brom. They followed that up with the signing of another Nigerian in 26 year old Akin Famewo from Sheffield Wednesday.
The 29-year-old, who plays predominantly on the right, boasts extensive experience from across Europe, with 147 of his more than 270 senior appearances coming in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Most recently at Çaykur Rizespor, the wide player contributed four goals and nine assists in 49 outings after signing in February 2024, featuring 36 times last season.
