Lookman To Bayern Tops List Of Seven Super Eagles Players Expected To Make Deadline Day Transfer

As the summer transfer window comes close to ending as many as seven players of the senior national team of Nigeria are expected to be on the move before it closes on Monday, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Top of the list is Ademola Lookman who is a subject of interest from German giants Bayern Munich, but their offer of a loan deal has been rejected by Atalanta despite the option of a lucrative permanent signing fee based on certain conditions.

The move is expected to happen with Lookman keen on a move away after going on strike to push a move to Inter Milan. Reports say he has asked Atalanta to accept the loan proposal as he doesn’t see a way back for him at the club.

Samuel Chukwueze is already in London where he is expected to complete a deadline day move to Fulham from AC Milan, where he is deemed as surplus to requirements. Another Super Eagles player who is close to securing a move away is Tolu Arokodare.

Arokodare is already in England to seal a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers pending on a medical with all fees and terms about the deal already agreed with his Belgium side Genk.

In Belgium Raphael Onyedika has made it clear to Club Brugge that he is only open to joining German side Eintracht Frankfurt despite offers from other teams, notably Galatasaray of Turkey. The move is expected to advance before the close of the window.

In Scotland, coach of Rangers Russell Martins has already said Nigeria international striker Cyriel Dessers has played his last game for the club, and reports in Greece has it that he has already agreed on all terms to join Greek side Panathinaikos. A deal expected to be confirmed before the close of the window.

The duo of Sadiq Umar and Kelechi Iheanacho who were not part of the squad for the upcoming world cup qualifiers games against Rwanda and South Africa respectively, are expected to be on the move before the close of the window.

Sadiq has made it clear to the hierarchy of Real Sociedad that he wants a move to Valencia or nothing else, despite offers from other teams in Spain and also beyond.

Iheanacho’s future at Sevilla isn’t secured with reports saying he has been told he has no future at the club. The same condition with Taiwo Awoniyi who is now third in the pecking order at Nottingham Forest.
