Players of the senior national team of Nigeria will only have 48 hours training session before the game against Lesotho on Friday in the world cup qualifiers, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Nigeria head into the game needing a win to keep alive their chances of making it to the world cup, and could go level on point with the group leaders Benin Republic, if they slip up against Rwanda and South Africa suffer a similar fate.

The nature of the games means they should be early and prompt preparation, but that is not the case with the Nigerian teams with majority of the players not expected to be in camp until on Tuesday.

Air tickets for almost all the players were booked for Monday night, including those who played on Saturday and would have arrived camp at the earliest on Sunday or Monday.

Players of the team are very unhappy with the development and six of them who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity, accused the NFF of messing their travel plans with the poor arrangements.

It means those who arrive on Monday will only get to take part in a shake off drill in the evening, with technical and tactical training set to begin on Wednesday, which is 48 hours to the game.
