
Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has revealed that he has a total of 500 players that he is monitoring for a spot in his team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
In an interview with Eagles FM, the coach who is preparing to lead the team to the world cup qualifiers playoff in Morocco next month opened up on his scouting network.
Chelle told legendary Super Eagles star Segun Odegbami during the interview that he has a list of 500 players for scouting, and on an average he watches at least 80 games involving Nigerian players every weekend.
“I receive a lot of messages about players, so sometimes I watch the players that people send to me and I do my analysis”, he revealed.
“The technical staff review about 500 Nigerian players around the world. We follow 80 players every week”.
