Speaking after the game, Petković was of the opinion that the Nigerian team will pose a different kind of threat, saying they have to be wary of the Nigerians and not to be complacent after the win over DR Congo.

Both teams have won all of their games at the tournament right from the group stages making the game one of the top futures in the quarter final of the tournament.

” We (Algeria) have to be humble against Nigeria. They are a different team with a very good attack. We will play to our strength and with adequate preparation we should be ready for the game”, he said.
