Nigeria international midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro will return to his parent owners Inter Milan at the end of the season after failing to bag a permanent deal at fellow Serie A side Pisa, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Akinsamiro joined the team on loan from inter Milan in the summer with an option of making the deal permanent, if he makes certain number of appearances and they keep their Serie A status.
Staying in the Serie A looks highly unlikely for the newly promoted side , and Akinsamiro has struggled to win his spot back in the team since his return from the AFCON with Nigeria.
The form that saw him gatecrash the Nigerian team seems to have deserted him, and a decision on his future has been made, and it’s largely why he hasn’t played much lately.
Pisa have resigned to fate that they will be playing in the second division next season, hence are more inclined to playing players that will be part of their campaign next season.
