No contact has been made with AC Milan by English Premier League side Fulham on the permanent signing of Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Chukwueze is on a season long loan deal from AC Milan to the English Premier League side, who have the option of making the deal permanent at the end of the season based on the performances of the Nigerian.

Any potential deal will see Fulham pay a fee in the region of €28m to AC Milan including bonuses, but for now no contact has been made with nine games left before the season ends.

With three goals and four assists in 15 games in the English Premier League, it’s fair to say the 26 year old has done enough to earn a permanent stay at the club but it isn’t expected to be straightforward.

Sources say Fulham will look to lower the transfer fee if they are to make the deal permanent. AC Milan are expected to be open to the idea but for a fee not less than €20m.

On his part Chuckwueze is well settled in London, and would do everything in his power to remain at the club including taking a pay cut.
