
Frank Onyeka is close to penning a permanent deal with English Championship side Coventry City who are closing in on promotion to the English Premier League after their six consecutive win following a 3-0 win over Preston, OwnGoalNigeria.com.
Onyeka joined the team on loan from Brentford in the January transfer window, and has since played in six games all of which they have won to cement their spot as the league leaders.
His loan which will be till the end of the season , but there is an option for Coventry to sign him permanently if they secure promotion to the English Premier League.
They are now eight points clear as leaders and, nine points clear of third placed Ipswich Town with the top two guarantee automatic promotion to the English Premier League.
Coventry City will most likely seal promotion if they win their next five games, and it will immediately lead to the permanent signing of Onyeka who has been a delight for the Frank Lampard led team.
