Nigerian Samson Adamu Appointed As Acting General Secretary Of CAF

Nigeria’s Samson Adamu has been appointed Acting General secretary of the Confederation of African football, CAF, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

He replaces Veron Mosengo-Omba of DR Congo who stepped down to participate in the election for president of the Football federation of DR Congo (FECOFA).

It’s still unclear the duration of time that Samson, who is the son of veteran Nigerian sports administrator Amos Adamu will stay in the position, or if his current lifting will be made permanent.
