18 year old Brighton and Hove Albion striker Nehemiah Oriola says he is of Nigerian descent and open to the idea of representing Nigeria, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Oriola is seen as one of the brightest prospects in the U21 setup of the English Premier League side, and he has shown his abilities with eight goals and four assists in the Premier League 2.

Already he has made the bench of the first team in the English Premier League and also in the FA Cup this season. Although he is yet to get his professional bow.

Born in England to parents of Nigerian descent, he is yet to be capped at any level by either countries keeping his international future in the air, but he is clear about his intentions.

” I am a Nigerian”, he responded in a video where he was asked about his international choices. He also made it clear that playing for the Super Eagles is an option in the future.
