Nigerian preacher Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, says the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) should replace Eric Chelle as the coach of the senior national team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Chelle led the team to a bronze medal finish at the AFCON in January, and still has a year to go on his deal which the NFF has tried to extend but talks broke down over his wage demands.
Ayodele the famous preacher said the team will not move forward with Chelle as the head coach, because he is bereft of ideas tactically and technically.
“Let them sack this coach and look for a better coach for the Super Eagles. With this coach the Super Eagles will be drained, Super Eagles will not go far, they will not succeed.
“As it is, this Super Eagles lack the technicalities the nation needs,” he said in his latest viral video.
