
Head coach of English Premier League side Crystal Palace has listed five Nigerians for the second leg of today’s UEFA Conference League clash against Fiorentina, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Oliver Glasner who removed Nigerian international Uche Chrisantus from the official list of registered players, after the January transfer window will be hoping his side book a spot in the semi final.
They hold a 3-0 lead from the first game in England leaving their Italian opposition with a tall task of scoring four or more goals to progress.
The Nigerian players listed are 18 year old Sean Somade, another 18 year old in Ben Casey, 20 year old Asher Agbinone who is the oldest with the quartet of Daniel Owoade (17), Chuks Okoli (18), Remi Ahazie-Shittu (17) and Eyimofe Jemide (19) completing the list.
At least two among the above mentioned players is expected to play some role later today. They are all a part of the academy of the London side and were born in England to parents of Nigerian descent.
