Last week we exclusively reported that the 18 year old is a target for Chelle as an alternative to top striker Victor Osimhen in the attack of the Nigerian team, but he is also eligible for France.
Not minding the fact that he has played four times for the U19 of France, Chelle has contacted his representative on the possibility of having him in the Super Eagles for their upcoming friendly games.
” Yes I got contact with someone working for the Nigerian coach and that’s all I can say”, his representative revealed when we enquired about his chances of playing for Nigeria.
This season which is his first in a major league , he has scored five goals in 27 Ligue 1 games.
