Swedish side AIK have accepted the invitation of fast rising Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna to the senior national team of Nigeria for the upcoming Unity Cup friendly tournament in London, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Zadok was among the new players handed a first time call up to the team by head coach Eric Chelle, who wants to use the tournament to blood in new player in lowly rated but competitive European leagues.
The 18 year who is strongly linked with a summer transfer to German giants Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window put himself in the frame, with five goals and four assists in 12 games all competitions this season.
AIK were initially reluctant to let him leave as the date of the tournament will coincide with their top game against Hammarby, but after a chat with the camp of the player he was given the go ahead.
Meanwhile the knock he picked up in their 2-4 defeat to Djurgaden that led to his substitution isn’t as bad as initially feared, hence he is expected to be back for the game against Vasteras this weekend.
