Arsenal midfielder Ebere Eze has fired a salvo the way of the former captain of the senior national team of Nigeria John Obi Mikel after Arsenal’s title win, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Yesterday the Gunners were crowned champions of the English Premier League after Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth handing them a four points lead with just a game to go.
Mikel has been critical of Arsenal’s style of play particularly their reliant on corner kicks and the manner they used it to attack.
Posting on his official account on Instagram via his story, Eze took a swipe at Mikel with a post that reads ” John Obi Mikel is your sleep paralysis demon”. It came with an accompanying sound mimicking Mikel’s statement ” Arsenal can only score from corner kicks mate”.
He is one among many Arsenal faithfuls who have clamped on the ex Chelsea midfielder, who in his lastest podcast gave credit to Arsenal for winning the league.
