We pick five players who were impressive for Nigeria in the game.

1. Femi Azeez – He oozed class all through the game. Took both goals really well and looked too good for the opposition. A statement debut from the Millwall winger.

2. Kenneth Igboke – Showed remarkable composure on the ball and played a huge role in the move leading to both goals, especially the second goal. A debut to remember for the Enugu Rangers left back.

3. Terem Moffi – Didn’t allow the pressure of wearing the captain armband get to him. He was simply unplayable especially with his back to goal. Set up both goals for Azeez to cement his return to the team.

4. Arthur Okonkwo – Had a clean sheet on his debut. Something that he must have dreamt about although he didn’t have much to do. In the second half he made three good saves to keep the clean sheet intact. Also made very good use of the ball at his feet.

5. Tochukwu Nnadi – Covered every blade of grass. Won more ball than any other in the colours of Nigeria and was largely why Super Eagles dominated the game.
