Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle says the attacking duo of Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen won’t be available for their upcoming high profile friendly games against Poland and Portugal respectively, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Nigeria yesterday successfully defended the Unity Cup title with a 3-0 win over Jamaica, and will now regroup with an almost different set of players for the game against Poland on the 3rd of June.

Seven days after the game, they will take on Portugal in Lisbon, with the Portuguese using the game as a farewell before heading to the World Cup in the USA.

The duo of Lookman and Osimhen were not included in the squad that won the Unity Cup yesterday, and Chelle confirmed they won’t be part of the team for the upcoming games as well.

” We have two games Poland and Portugal and I have lot of problem because some players don’t have visa for it. The most important we will miss two players because Victor Osimhen will maybe change a club, we prefer that he stays in his house, because if he plays he might not be 100 percent”, he said at the post match.

” Lookman is very tired and Atletico Madrid asked us to let him rest so we will travel with 18 players. We will see what happened after in Poland and Portugal”, he stated.
