Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has given his approval to the invitation of a new left back for the senior national team of Nigeria, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Like we reported the coach has identified three areas where the team need more options namely at left back , attacking midfield and also in attack where a like for like back up for top striker Victor Osimhen is a priority.
However in the area of left back he has identified Isaac James of Portugese top division side Alverca as a viable option, after reviewing his performance last season.
The 21 year old who joined the team from French side Lorient in the summer transfer window made a total of 19 appearances last season for the modest side, and held his own against top teams.
Chelle was very impressed and has already pencilled him for an invitation in the future, although it’s dependant on how he performs next season.
