Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen is keen on a move away from Turkish side Galatasaray before the close of the ongoing summer transfer window, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal last summer after a successful loan spell from Napoli, and ensured that they retained the league title.

He made a huge impression in the UEFA Champions League with his tally of 7 goals in ten games key to their progess to the round of 16 of the tournament.

Despite a fairly successful season, the 27 year old feels he is at the age where he should make a move now to a team in a top league, and sees the summer transfer window as a way to achieve it.

A football agent who is close to the player said although he isn’t desperate and won’t push for a move or hand in a transfer request, his desire still remains to leave the team in the summer transfer window.

Although Galatasaray value him at over a €100m and have repeatedly said he isn’t for sale, they will not stand in his way if an offer that meet their valuation is tabled and he wants to go.

The source said he has been offered to a couple of teams in Europe, and it’s why he skipped the Super Eagles friendly games as said by the coach of the Nigerian team, but denied by the player saying the coach was quoted out of context.
