New Super Eagles Winger Keen On Joining English Premier League Side

Newly capped Nigeria international winger Femi Azeez is keen on a move to the English Premier after missing out on promotion with Championship side Millwall, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Azeez made his international debut for Nigeria at the Unity Cup, and make an instant in impression with a brace in the semi final 2-0 win against Zimbabwe, and an assist in the 3-0 win against Jamaica in the final of the invitational tournament.

Last season he was voted in the English Championship team of the season after hitting 11 goals with 8 assists.

He now feels it’s time to take his trade to the topmost division where he is courting interest from Brighton, Aston Villa and newly promoted Ipswich Town who already failed with their first bid for him.

A source close to the player revealed that he has made it known to Millwall that he wants out in the summer. Talks will be held in the coming days in regards to his decision.

His representative will sound out interested parties only when an agreement and a fee is in place for his move away from the club. The player is however keen on an exit and has made it known to the hierarchy of the club.
