New coach of AC Milan Ruben Amorim will hand Nigeria international winger Samuel Chukwueze a new role at wingback next season if he remains at the club, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Chukwueze spent the entirety of last season on loan to English Premier League side Fulham, with the English side having the option of making the deal permanent but a definite decision is yet to be taken.
Although reports say they are looking at signing him permanently for a fee less than what was agreed as his potential transfer fee at the end of the loan.
He is now expected to report for pre season training at Milan with new coach Amorim already looking at a possible way of integrating the Nigerian into his team.
A new role at wingback in the coach’s favourite 3-4-3 formation is part of the plans for the 27 year old, who still has two years to go on his deal with the Italian side.
